Funding is available towards the cost of instrumental or vocal tuition through the Margaret Irene Seymour Music Awards.
Eligibility
Enrolled undergraduates, whether reading Music or not, can apply for this funding. Students who are on suspension and visiting students are not eligible. Please note that award holders will be expected to play a full part in music-making in the college.
Award levels
Awards are normally £250 and will be paid directly to music teachers.
Selection process
Auditions will take place as part of the freshers’ concert, normally in 2nd week. Please complete the online form by 12 noon on Monday 14th October. Your application will be shared with the Somerville Music Society and they will contact you directly about performing in the concert.
