Funding is available towards the cost of music tuition (instrumental, vocal, conducting, song writing, arranging, composition) through the Margaret Irene Seymour Music Awards. Please note that award holders will be expected to contribute to College music life through full participation in the Somerville Music Society.
Eligibility
Enrolled undergraduates, whether reading Music or not, can apply for this funding. Students who are on suspension and visiting students are not eligible.
Award levels
£500 for music tuition. Up to £500 is also available for performance-related costs to enable award holders to organise music events for Somerville.
Selection process
The selection process will be confirmed at the end of September.
