Graduate programmes are generally more individualised the at undergraduate level, and are overseen by the student’s supervisor or course director at their department or faculty.
Graduate students also have a college affiliation, including a college adviser, who will be a Somerville Fellow in your subject. For this reason, and to ensure that students benefit from a supportive academic environment, we usually only accept students for fields in which we have academics affiliated to the College. You can review all the individual subject Fellows and their research in our People section.
Below is a list of the subjects currently offered to graduates at Somerville – each one links to a page about the courses available on the university website. You might also like to look up the relevant Oxford department at Graduate Courses by Department.
