Funding is available from Somerville to help undergraduates in their second, third or fourth year with the cost of books related to their course. These grants can also be used towards the cost of purchasing laptops.
Eligibility
All enrolled undergraduates in the second, third or fourth year of their course can apply for this funding. Students who are on suspension and visiting students are not eligible.
Award levels
Students can claim up to £50 over the length of their course. If purchases total more than this amount, students will be reimbursed for the first £50. It is possible to make multiple applications of smaller amounts.

Please complete the application form and attach evidence of your purchase. The deadline for claims is your course completion date.

Payments
The award will be placed on your battels account and then paid into your UK bank account. Please note that the award will offset any existing battels account debits before the balance is paid.
