As part of our 360 degree commitment to student wellbeing, Somerville College has evolved into one of the most generous colleges in Oxford in terms of the financial support we offer. This support is available to prospective and current students, and covers everything from academic achievement to wellbeing, music and travel projects.
Typically, one in five Somerville students receives extra help during the course of an academic year and for the academic year 2021-22 we have 45 students in College on fully-funded scholarships via the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development and the Margaret Thatcher Scholarship Trust. As a College, we are particularly interested in supporting students who encounter financial hardship during their studies, as well as hearing from those wishing to secure funding to support meaningful projects.
