This scholarship has been established by Somerville College through the generous support of Carys Bannister and the family of Margaret Pelly.
Eligible courses
Candidates who have been accepted for graduate study at Oxford. The following full-time courses are eligible:
Award levels
The scholarship covers course fees and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the duration of fee liability for the course.
Number of awards
Up to three scholarships are available for 2025 entry.
Selection process
This scholarship is only tenable at Somerville and there is no separate application process. All eligible candidates will be considered, regardless of which college preference is included in the graduate application. Successful candidates will be transferred to Somerville in order to take up the scholarship. Unfortunately, it is not possible to notify unsuccessful candidates.
