Tours are a major part of Somerville College Choir’s identity. The choir has previously conducted tours to locations including Germany, Italy, and the United States.

In December 2018, the choir became the first Oxford College Choir to tour India, performing concerts and taking part in outreach activities in Mumbai and Goa in association with the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development and The British Council. The choir returned to India in 2023, giving concerts in Mumbia, Goa, and for the British High Commision in Delhi.

In 2025, the choir visited the USA, giving concerts in Houston (St Philips Church), and in NYC with concerts at the Church of the redeemer, a collaboration with Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, and joining the world-renowned choir of St Thomas 5th Avenue for their Sunday morning service.

In July 2026, the choir will visit Beijing at the request of the China International Chorus Festival, the only state-level festival of its kind.
