Michaelmas Term 2017
Happy new academic year! This Michaelmas Term, Somerville is delighted to welcome newcomers to the College: our Principal, Baroness Royall of Blaisdon; scholars with the Oxford India Centre and the Margaret Thatcher Scholarship Trust; and, of course, a new crop of undergraduates and graduates (not to mention new Fellows, Lecturers and staff). Somervillian successes continue this year, with the highest ever number of Principal’s Prizes to undergraduate and graduate students. We look to the future with the Universify Summer School and our new building projects, and we celebrate pioneering Somervillians of the past. Read more below.
