Afternoon session to be chaired by Dr Natasha Robinson (1972, Physiology).
2:30 – Dr Grace Barnes (2013, Medicine): New Tools for Old Problems: Life as a Junior Doctor in 2020
2:50 – Showcasing of Student Finalists’ Projects:
Five students – Jessica Mendall, Joseph Salf, Gerda Mickute and Isheeta Arora – will give short (five minute) presentations on their Final Honour School Research Projects undertaken as part of their FHS year, and a Prize for ‘Potential for Scientific Progress’ will be awarded.
3:30 – AGM, followed by Tea.
The price for the Medics Day is £35, or £25 for those who matriculated in 2005 or later, or £50 if you would like to sponsor a current student to attend, payable to Somerville College. Guests are welcome and those who would like to come for tea only are welcome at no extra charge, but please advise numbers. When you book, please let us know of any dietary or other requirements and also of any change in your employment details.
Current students are welcome to attend free of charge but please notify us if you do plan to.
