We are delighted to announce that Somerville will be hosting another Family Day: A Celebration of Learning on Saturday September 14th from 2pm-5pm. This is a wonderful chance to bring your family back to College to enjoy fun activities for all ages, including climbing wall, bungee trampolines, science
workshop, helter skelter and much more. In addition, there will be the opportunity to “meet the tutors” with subject talks by some of Somerville’s tutors, tours of the new Catherine Hughes building and a chance to find out about student life at Somerville today. A detailed email will be sent nearer the time for you to book into these sessions.
The previous two Family Days were the most popular events we have ever run at Somerville and we would love you to come back to enjoy the next one. Please see this video link for a taste of the day.
We are able to offer this event free of charge due to the generosity of a wonderful alumna who has kindly offered to sponsor the day. However, donations to the Annual Fund are warmly encouraged and you can either make your contribution online by clicking here , or there will be various opportunities on the day. Annual Fund donations support student bursaries, hardship grants, library books, computing equipment, and so much more.
Numbers are limited and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we encourage an early response. Please note this event is only open to alumni and children/grandchildren.
To apply for tickets please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
•Names & Number of adults attending (maximum 2 adults and 4 children)

We’re looking forward to another brilliant day, and we hope to see many of you there.
