The Somerville crowdfunding platform is an exciting initiative, which launched last year to help students fundraise for their own projects and ideas. Following on from nine hugely successful campaigns, one of the current projects hosted on the platform is run by two undergraduate Somerville Student Ambassadors, looking to raise funds for a new initiative at College; an Access Roadshow.

The Roadshow aims to see Student Ambassadors visit eight state schools in our target areas of Hounslow and Kingston-Upon-Thames, to widen access to Oxford and higher education in general. This is an amazing opportunity for current Somervillians to meet with pupils and talk about life at College today and the fantastic educational and extra-curricular experiences they have had here.

Somerville is consistently at work to expand its Access & Outreach programme, aimed to widen participation in Higher Education. Our established cooperation with 100 schools, within our link UK regions and beyond, has motivated and inspired a large number of pupils from state schools to pursue Higher Education.  For more on this wonderful project, please follow this link: https://somerville.hubbub.net/p/accessroadshow
