We’re working in partnership with the Office for National Statistics to ensure that all students at Somerville are included in the census.

The census is an important once-in-a-decade survey that gives us an accurate picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. All kinds of organisations, from local authorities to charities, use census information to help provide the services we all need, including transport, education and healthcare.

By taking part, you’ll be helping to make sure students get the services needed now and in the future – like jobs, training and university transport links.

So, whether you are in halls, living in a shared house, living with your parents or guardians, or are an international student – all students must be included, and you should complete the census for your university address.

If you’re staying at home temporarily, you need to complete the census questionnaire for your university address as well as being included on the household questionnaire.

Census Day is 21st March but you can complete yours now. Don’t worry, it only takes ten minutes per person and you can complete the whole thing online.

Request a code to complete yours now at www.census.gov.uk / www.cyfrifiad.gov.uk or for more information, visit www.census.gov.uk/students / www.cyfrifiad.gov.uk/myfyrwyr.
