Henry-V_Antiquaries-e1440328619734Professor Katherine Duncan-Jones will chair the closing session of an event this Sunday at the Oxford Ashmolean museum lecture theatre with her former pupil Emma Smith.

It is part of an all day Agincourt Commemoration on the 600th anniversary of the battle. It will included talks by leading historians, extracts from Shakespeare’s ‘Henry V’ and medieval music. Speakers include Rowena Archer, Stephen Cooper, Malcolm Vale, Emma Smith. Shakespearean extracts performed by the Simple 8 Theatre Company, directed by Richard Digby Day. Music directed by Matthew Cheung Salisbury

The event is from 10am to 5pm and includes and hour of music and drama in St. John’s College Chapel. Tickets cost £20 from the Oxford Playhouse.
