Event Start Date: 23 November 2022 16:30 - 19:00

Location: Flora Anderson Hall

The Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development at Somerville is pleased to present a screening and panel discussion of Rebellion, the 2021 documentary telling the inside story of Extinction Rebellion from its grassroots origins to international impact.

The film also follows Somerville alumna and co-author of the Paris Climate Accords Farhana Yamin (1983, PPE) as she tires of conventional climate lobbying and decides to join the protest, super-gluing herself to Shell’s London HQ. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring co-director Maia Kenworthy, Farhana Yamin and Oxford NetZero Director Sam Fankhauser, chaired by Professor Radhika Khosla, Research Director of the OICSD.

Please note, this event is in-person only.
