Event Start Date: 21 July 2024

In February, we launched our appeal to refurbish the outdoor space at St Paul’s Nursery to celebrate the 60 years since Dorothy Hodgkin won her Nobel Prize in Science. Using some of her prize money, she helped establish this provision so that no female academic at the time had to choose between work and childcare.

We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our alumni and friends, the work has now been completed!

We are inviting all those who supported this project to a special tea party on Sunday 21st of July, 3pm Where they will be able to see the new space.

If you are interested in supporting St Paul’s Nursery then please email Jackie Yip at regular.giving@some.ox.ac.uk
