Inaugural Somerville Association Formal Hall

On Saturday 17th September, the Principal, Baroness Royall, and Somerville Association President, Nermeen Varawalla (1989, Clinical Medicine) will host the inaugural Somerville Alumni Association Formal Hall in College.
We are delighted that our guest speaker on this occasion will be Susie Dent (1983, Modern Languages). After dinner there will be a bop in the Flora Anderson Hall; for those who prefer a quieter after dinner drink, the Mary Somerville Room will be available. All alumni are of course welcome, and there is a discounted rate for recent graduates (matriculation year 2015 onwards). This event coincides with a return to an in-person University Alumni Weekend, Meeting Minds and you can find all details of that, here. *This event is now open to guests. Dress code was traditionally black tie, but regular suits/smart casual are also fine.
