The 2023 edition of the University’s fantastic ‘Meeting Minds’ alumni weekends is taking place from the 22nd-24th of September – and we are offering two events – including one available remotely on Zoom – to add a Somerville thread to your experience.
On the 22nd of September at 1 PM, our Principal Jan Royall will host an online “Meet the Principal” session on Zoom. After a brief College update, Jan will answer your questions about her work as a Principal or in the House of Lords. The event will be completely free to attend; if you would like to join us, please register your interest here and we will send the Zoom meeting link nearer the time.

For those of you attending in person, our Somerville Association for alumni have arranged an alumni Formal for you on Saturday 23rd September to coincide with the weekend, hosted by their President, Nermeen Varawalla (1989, Clinical Medicine). There will be a bop after dinner in the Flora Anderson Hall (what sort of evening would be complete without one?), or you can enjoy a more relaxed end to the festivities in the Mary Somerville.
