Adding to your year group booklet – a request for EVERYONE

It has become a tradition since this event started in 1959 to produce a booklet to accompany Golden Reunions, so that people can find out about those in their year group they have lost contact with, whether they can come to the Reunion or not. You would have received your booklet a decade ago and it is a really important part of the College archive. This year, members of your year group organising the reunion have asked for entries in the original booklet to be updated.

You will have been emailed with the original booklet when you received the first email invitation in April. Please could you send any additional information to Honey Hinkson (development.assistant@some.ox.ac.uk) by 1st July.

Any additional photographs are very welcome (from then or now!), and you will receive the updated booklet ahead of the reunion, so that you can plan ahead…

  • You could write about any aspects of life since Somerville: home and family, any community involvement, travels or moves, changes or developments of your interests and opinions. As always, this is not all about amazing successes in life, but about those things that have been important to you. All lives and experiences are fascinating to read about!

You can purchase a copy of the 1966 matric photo on the Gillman and Soame website here
