The Somerville London Group is delighted to host Luke Harding and Felicity Spector for a conversation on Ukraine, present and future, hopes and fears.
Luke Harding reports on Ukraine for the Guardian and Felicity Spector (1985) for ITN. Both have visited Ukraine many times since the Russian invasion of 2022 and both have recently published books: Luke Harding’s Betrayal reports from the front line in Ukraine and charts how borders are under attack across the globe; Felicity Spector’s Bread and War tells of how baking bread in war-torn cities, towns and villages is both a symbol of Ukrainian national identity and an act of resilience. They will be in conversation at the Frontline Club (13 Norfolk Place, London W2) on Thursday 15 October, doors open at 6.30 and the event will start at 7pm.
After the talk we will adjourn to the club’s cash bar downstairs.
We do hope you can join us.
Please note that this event will be in a second floor space (stairs only).
