Last year’s College Garden Tour saw members of the Somerville Alumni Gardening Network visit Worcester College, as well as looking at our own gardens, in June. This year, we’re moving the event to April, to see gardens at their spring best, and as well as Somerville, we’ll be visiting Trinity College.
We’ll meet in College for coffee and have a morning tour of Somerville gardens with our gardeners, Alastair and Anna. After a buffet lunch in Hall, we’ll move down to meet Kate Burtonwood, Head Gardener at Trinity. As many will know, Trinity have made some changes to their gardens recently around new buildings, and it will be exciting to see their recent planting as well as the more established areas.
