2020 graduate registration
Please read the following information about the registration process. There is more information on the University website (www.ox.ac.uk/students/new).
Summary of registration process
The University requires all students to register online at the start of each academic year. In order to do this, you must take the following steps:
- Meet the conditions of your offer (academic and financial)
- Receive the University card form from your department or faculty
- Return your completed University card form to the University
- Receive your Single Sign On account details by email
- Register online using Student Self Service
- Register in person at Somerville and Collect your Biometric Residence Permit (if applicable)
Once you have met all the conditions of your offer, your department or faculty will send you a University card form. You will need to complete this form and return it to the University.
Single Sign On account
You will receive your Single Sign On account details by email once your University card form has been processed. You will need these details to register.
You will register using Single Sign On through an online system called Student Self Service. The registration process is a chance for you to check that the University holds the correct personal information about you and to make any amendments. Registration opens on Sunday 1st September and closes on Friday 18th October. A detailed guide to using Student Self Service is on the University website (www.ox.ac.uk/students/registration).
*Please note that you must register online before travelling to Oxford*
In early September you will be invited to make an appointment to register in person with the Academic Office.
Graduate registration will take place on Wednesday 30th September, Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October although other dates and times will be possible with notice and good reason. If you are unable to come to the office during the bookable hours you will be able to arrange an alternative time.
If you have a visa, please bring your passport so we can take scanned copies. You will be able to collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) at this appointment.
