Why did you decide to apply for the 2015 Telethon?
I was part of the Telethon last year and I loved that it was a great opportunity to support the College that I have received so much from. In particular I am excited to help raise money to maintain and expand the bursaries and hardship grants which allow Somerville to provide a great education to its students, regardless of their financial situation.
What are you most looking forward to during the campaign?
I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to talk to previous Somerville students and hear about their experiences of studying here, equally it will be fascinating to hear what people have got up to since leaving and maybe their thoughts can help me work out what I want to pursue as a career after graduating.
What do you hope to do after Somerville?
Initially, I would like to do Teach First, where you spend two years teaching at inner-city schools. After that I'm really not sure, I'm currently thinking about management consultancy or working for the Church.
What is your favourite thing about Somerville?
I love how the College is so warm…there is a real family feel here that allows people to flourish.
