Somerville Maths Reunion
You are warmly invited to a reunion of Somerville mathematicians on Saturday 24th June.
The day is open to all graduates in Maths, Stats, and Computer Science, including joint schools. This will be a wonderful opportunity to integrate with fellow Somervillians whilst enjoying a selection of mathematical talks. Current students, college tutors and lecturers will also be invited.
The day will be chaired by Dr Hilary Ockendon and Dr Karin Erdmann, and the programme will include talks by Professor Mason Porter, previous Somerville Fellow in Applied Mathematics and now Professor of Mathematics at UCLA, Professor Nicole Snashall (Greenwood, 1984), Professor of Pure Mathematics at the University of Leicester, and Dr Eugenie Hunsicker (1990), Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Loughborough. There will also be lunch in hall, and a chance to tour the new Mathematical Institute, the Andrew Wiles Building, which opened in 2013 right next door to Somerville.
Online booking for this event is now closed. Please contact Brigitte in the Alumni & Development Office on 01865 280 626 to enquire about availability.
Please note we can only offer parking in College for those with accessibility needs. There is a regular Park-and-Ride bus service from the Pear Tree roundabout, stopping very close to Somerville. Find out more.
