Graduate academic life

Your academic work is overseen by your University department or faculty and your Supervisor or Course Director/Organiser.

If you are working for a research degree, you will have a University Supervisor who will help to guide your studies. If you are on a taught course, you will have either a University Supervisor or a Course Director/Organiser. The roles of Supervisor and Course Director/Organiser are explained in Notes of Guidance for graduate students published by the University's Education Committee. These Notes of Guidance also cover study and residence requirements, skills training, and assessment and examinations.
