The Somerville Association

Your network for life

Everyone who matriculates to Somerville is automatically a member of the Somerville Association. The purpose of the Association is to keep alumni in life-long touch with the College and with each other.

The Association helps to run Gaudies and year reunions, the Leavers’ Dinner, the Commemoration Service and between 20 and 30 events for alumni each year, in College and around the country. It contributes to publications for alumni and its Secretary, Liz Cooke, is always interested to hear news about Somervillians’ lives and careers. There are active professional networks which provide useful contacts and also social activities; where possible these networks also offer career advice and contacts to undergraduates and recent leavers.
