Classics and Classical Archaeology

The facilities and resources available for the research of Classics and related areas in Oxford are second to none. The Classics Faculty boasts more research funding from external bodies than any other humanities department. Undergraduates and postgraduates are well supported by our academics who, between them, cover all the areas of expertise and research that this multi-faceted discipline encompasses.

Below are details of some of the areas of research which our Fellow and Tutors are currently engaged in. There are links to personal and faculty web pages. For more information and college profiles for our Tutors and Fellows please visit the Classics subject page.
