1962 Reunion

22-23 June 2012 - Somerville College

The 2012 Gaudy, on 23-24 June, will be for matric years 1956-66; and of course, 2012 is also the year of 1962's 50th anniversary.

Rather than attempt two separate celebrations for the year, we have decided to hold the 'golden' anniversary reunion on the day before the Gaudy, beginning with a luncheon on Friday 22 June and concluding with luncheon on Saturday 23 June; this reunion will be followed by the full Gaudy programme beginning with the Garden Party on the afternoon of 23 June.

We hope that as many of you as possible will come to the joint event and that this will make a journey to Somerville all the more worthwhile for those who live a long distance away. It will be possible to book for one or other celebration, or for bits of both.

Pauline Adams (History) and Kath Boothman (Scott, Mod Langs) have very kindly volunteered to produce a booklet of biographies for the year and you will be hearing from them about this project.
