Somervillians on the honour roll

We are delighted to congratulate the following Somervillians on their New Year's Honours:

Dr Maggie Gee (English, 1966), author, OBE for services to Literature.

Mrs Magdalen (Maggie) Fergusson (History, 1983), Secretary of the Royal Society of Literature, MBE for services to Literature.

Shiban Akbar (English MPhil, 1987) an honorary OBE for services to the community and voluntary services and to the Muslim community.
