Somerville College is well placed for visitors to the city of Oxford. It has excellent facilities, particularly the Margaret Thatcher Centre, and offers a versatile environment for groups or individuals requiring meeting rooms, lectures, receptions, or dinners throughout the year.

Our range of venues are suitable for up to 200 guests and offer unique surroundings for both indoor and outdoor events, including beautiful gardens and a wood panelled Dining Hall.

We are able to organise a wide range of facilities for almost any type of event including; banquets, conferences, christenings and naming ceremonies, dinners, lectures, receptions, meetings and summer schools.

During College vacation periods we can accommodate large groups of residential visitors. Throughout the year we can cater for day meetings, seminars, special banquets and dinners. Our spacious gardens are available all year.

Residential Conferences
The College is available for residential conferences and events outside Oxford term, except during the College closure period over Christmas and New Year.

  

Day Meetings
Somerville College is the ideal place to hold meetings, conferences and seminars. We're here to make your life easier and help make a great impression on your delegates and clients throughout the day. Choose any of our four different meeting rooms, from an informal interview room to the fully equipped Margaret Thatcher Centre. Water, Pads, pens, flipchart and a whiteboard are all included.

  

Dining
Somerville College is a unique and prestige banqueting venue located in the centre of the city of Oxford. Whether you are looking for a sumptuous four course banquet, a simple afternoon tea or something in between, Somerville's staff will work with you to meet your catering needs.

  

Bed and Breakfast
Somerville College opens its doors to visitors out of term allowing you the opportunity to soak up the unique atmosphere by staying overnight on this beautiful campus, founded in 1879 and located right in the heart of Oxford with so many of Oxford's best attractions on your doorstep. All rooms are serviced with bed linen and towels and complimentary tea and coffee supplies are provided.
